Who we are

We are an Anglo-italian family who welcome pilgrims and tourists to our home, which is situated in a most interesting and historical district called Gianicolo, adjacent to one of the most beautiful piazzas with a magnificent view of the city. Near here is the place where Garibaldi defeated the pope's army and finally liberated Rome from his domination. The area nowadays is a quiet residential green district with two most interesting parks around it. We have two double rooms available with a balcony shared between the rooms. There is a separate bathroom which is shared between the guests.

How to get around

As shown on the map our bed and breakfast overlooks the "Trastevere" district, one of the most characteristic and central areas in the historic centre. The most famous spots in Rome are within easy reach. Bus routes connect you directly to the Coloseum and Piazza Venezia (aprox.20 minutes) or to the Termini railway station (aprox. 35 minutes) which is convenient if you would fancy a day off to visit Florence or Pompei. S. Peter's is just 30 minutes on foot (pale green line) and most other places in Rome are easly reached by underground (dotted lines) or other bus routes (not on the map). The underground and the bus routes crestes a continuous connection between all the Basilicas and the roman monuments. Public transport ends it's service around midnight, so after that time you can get around by using the efficient roman taxi service which are available 24 hours a day.
